Tolhildan Zagros, real name Egîd Mehmûd (born 23 October 1987 in Qamishli - died; 20 October 2019 in Tell Abyad, Syria),[1] was a commandeur of the Kurdish Anti-Terror Units, who was killed during the 2019 Turkish offensive into north-eastern Syria by Turkish and Syrian backed forces in Tell Abyad.[2][3]

After studying economics at Al-Furat University and the outbreak of the Syrian civil war, Mehmed joined the Kurdish rebels in Qamishli in 2012.[3] Mahmud was appointed senior officer of Rojava's anti-terror forces in 2014.[3] As a result of the operation by the Turkish Armed Forces and its backed Syrian Brigades killed the senior officer Mehmud in an exchange of fire on October 20, 2019, in Tell Abyad.[2]
