Veerabhadram Chowdary is an Indian film director known for his works in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut in 2011 through Aha Naa Pellanta.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Mullapudi Veerabhadram Chowdary was born in the village Kalavalapalli in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.[1] His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. He joined the film industry as assistant director in 1997.[1]
Filmography as Director[edit]
In 2011, he made his film directorial debut with Aha Naa Pellanta starring n Telugu language action comedy film written and directed by Veerabhadram. It stars Allari Naresh, the son of famous director E. V. V. Satyanarayana, and newcomer Ritu Barmecha. Srihari, Anita Hassanandani, Subbaraju, Samrat Reddy, and Brahmanandam play important roles. The music was composed by Raghu Kunche. The film was released on 2 March 2011. All enjoyed a successful run in cinemas for 100 days, amassing a box office collection of 25 crores.
In 2012 Poola Rangadu is a Indian Telugu language action comedy film written and directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary. The film stars Sunil and Isha Chawla. Atchi Reddy has produced the film under Max India, which went on to collect 50 crores at the box office, and established itself as an industry blockbuster.
In early 2013, Indian Telugu language action comedy film, produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni under Annapurna Studios and directed by Veerabhadram Chowdary in association with Reliance Entertainment. It stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Richa Gangopadhyay, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. This also performed well, collecting 25 crores at the box office.
In 2016, he directed Chuttalabbayi, starring Aadi Saikumar. This film collected over 10 crores at the box office, becoming the most significant success in Aadi's career.
In 2022, he directed Dilwala, starring Naresh Agastya and Rajendra Prasad. The movie is ready for release.
In 2024, he will be directing Krishna from Brundavam, filming set to commence in June. Digangana Suryavanshi, who previously shared the screen with Aadi in the movie Crazy Fellow, will reunite with him for this project. Chota K Prasad is handling the editing, while Shyam is serving as the cinematographer. The screenplay is being crafted by Ramu Mannar, known for his excellent dialogue writing.
