Barbara Conolly

Barbara Elizabeth Conolly, JP, NP, MP is a Cayman Islands politician from the People's Progressive Movement.[1]

Education[edit]

Conolly graduated from the University College of the Cayman Islands.[1]

Political career[edit]

She was first elected to the Parliament of the Cayman Islands representing George Town South in the 2017 Caymanian general election and was re-elected in 2021.[2]

In 2019, Conolly was elected deputy speaker.[3] In 2021, she stood again for speaker and deputy speaker but was not selected.[4]

In Parliament she is a member of the Public Accounts Committee and also Shadow Minister for Education and Social Development on the opposition benches.[5]

Personal life[edit]

She has two children and two grandchildren.[6]
