Ryoff Karma
Yuya Mishima (呂布カルマ, Ryoffu Karuma, born January 7, 1983), known professionally as Ryoff Karma, is a Japanese rapper and media personality. He is one of the most famous rappers of the battle rap scene in Japan. [1]

Early life[edit]
Yuya was born in Hyogo prefecture in Japan. He entered the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nagoya University of Arts. He aspired to become a manga artist, and applied for the Newcomer's Award in the manga magazine Weekly Young Jump while he was still in university.[2] During his fourth year in university, he made a demo tape and sent it to rapper Darth Raider. He received advice to do a live show of his own [3]
Career[edit]
Ryoff Karma released his first album, '13 Shit' in 2009, followed by 'Yojigen HIP-HOP' in 2010 and 'Strong' in 2010. Drug use, alcohol and addiction are prominent topics within his albums. [4] He is more widely known as a battle rapper, as he performs in many events a year, having won 24 of them, [5] as well as appearing in various adverts and TV entertainment.[6] He has a personal YouTube channel where he gives commentary of Japanese hip-hop news.[7] He has also had collaborations with the adult toy manufacturer Tenga. [8]

Ryoff Karma gave birth to his first daughter in 2015, and his son in 2020. [9]
