Boletus quercophilus is a species of porcini-like fungus native to Costa Rica, where it grows under Quercus copeyensis and Quercus seemannii.[1]his bolete is allied with members of the Boletus edulis group that forms ectomycorrhizae with oaks, viz. B. aestivalis, B. aereus, B. quercicola, and B. reticulatus. It differs in its pileus colors and brown stipe with brown reticulum.[2][3]
