Shand Ashkandan (Persian: شند اشکندان) is a village in, and the capital of, Shand Ashkandan Rural District of Kalleh Gan District, Golshan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[3]

The National Census in 2011 counted 275 people in 78 households, when it was in the former Jaleq District of Saravan County.[4] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 420 people in 126 households.[2]

In January 2019, Nahuk Rural District was separated from the district to join the Central District. The remainder of the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Golshan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Jaleq as its capital and only city.[3]
