Meridean Overseas Education is an Indian educational technology company headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan.[1] In 2023, the company reported that it has 20 offices across 10 countries.[2]

History[edit]

Meridean Overseas Education was founded by Amar Bahada, an entrepreneur and TEDx speaker.[1][2] The company started in 2015 with an initial investment of 5 lakhs. Initially, the company provided test preparation courses and university application support.[3]

The company opened its first overseas office in Dubai and later expanded into 10 other countries by opening offices and language centers across Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and Germany.[4] The company also launched a scholarship program called the Meridean Excellence Scholarship for students in Italy.[1] In the same year, the company rolled out the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) platform, an initiative to provide a range of materials covering all aspects of the IELTS test.[5]

In 2023, the company announced that it had partnerships with over 100 education institutions, including the University of East London, the University of St. Thomas, Amity University, and Mount Saint Vincent University.[4]

The company reported a revenue of Rs 100 crores in FY 2022.[1]

In August 2022, the company received an award from ApplyBoard for their work in international education recruitment.[4] In 2023, the company earned the Top Recruitment Partner award for assisting students in studying abroad.[6]
