High School Return of a Gangster (Korean: 조폭인 내가 고등학생이 되었습니다) is an ongoing South Korean web series starring Yoon Chan-young, Bong Jae-hyun and Lee Seo-jin. It was released on Wavve, TVING and Watcha on May 29, 2024, every Wednesday at 14:00 (KST).[1] The first two episodes premiered at CGV Theater and were released on February 22, 2024.[3]
Synopsis[edit]
High School Return of a Gangster tells the story of a gangster who 'wants to go to college' and possesses the body of a 19-year-old outcast high school student.

- Kim Deuk-pal - A 47 year old gangster of chilsung gang who dreams of studying and joining high school as he wasn't able to study during his poor background.One day, his soul enters the body of a 19 year old high school boy i.e.Song Yi-heon when he tries to stop the boy from commiting suicide. Unable to escape the body of young student he finds out the real song yi heon was brutally bullied which was the reason of this suicide. So he decides to punish those bullies and help the boy to get into university with good grades. During the process he befriends the talented and popular boy of school choi se-kyung who seems like a nice boy with hidden secrets and suffering from domestic violence of his father
- Song Yi-heon - A 19 year old high school student who suffers from bullying and decides to end his life . He wants to be friend with the popular guy of the school and knows his secrets . He is given the nickname' Stalker' by his bullies. He is a son of a rich CEO with his mistress
- Bong Jae-hyun as Choi Se-kyung[5]
- A model student who is perfect in everything and who develops a special friendship with Song Yi-heon.
