Itsuki Enomoto (榎本 樹, Enomoto Itsuki, born 4 June 2000) is a Japanese footballer currently playing as a forward for Singapore Premier League club Young Lions.
Early life[edit]
Itsuki was born in Saitama. He played for Higashimatsuyama Pelenia and Maebashi Ikuei HS during his youth.
Club career[edit]
Matsumoto Yamaga[edit]
In February 2019, Itsuki joined J1 League club Matsumoto Yamaga.
Itsuki then returned to the club in January 2020 after his loan contract with Thespa Gunma expired where his club is competing in the J2 League. He made his debut for Matsumoto Yamaga on 25 July 2020 against Omiya Ardija.[1]
Itsuki scored his first goal for the club on 19 September 2021 in a 1–1 draw against Zweigen Kanazawa.[2] On 3 November, he scored his a brace in a 3–2 defeat to Machida Zelvia.
Itsuki became a regular member of the starting line-up from the 2022 season onwards making a total of 28 appearances and scoring 4 league goals.
Thespa Gunma (loan)[edit]
On 15 August 2019, Itsuki joined J3 League club Thespa Gunma on a season loan. He made his debut for Thespa against Gamba Osaka U-23 on 24 November.[3]
Young Lions[edit]
In February 2024, Itsuki moved to Singapore Premier League club, Young Lions. He make his debut for the club on 11 May in a league match against DPMM. On 25 May, he scored his first goal converting from the penalty spot in a 7–1 defeat to Geylang International.
