Abraham George (born October 19, 1979) is an American executive from Parker, Texas and the chairman-elect of the Republican Party of Texas. He was elected in a General Session of Republican State Party Convention in San Antonio on May 24, 2024.[2] He won the seat by a vote of the state party convention delegates, 54% to 46%, defeating Vice Chair Dana Myers in the second round of voting.[3] He is the former chairman of the Collin County Republican Party. Before his election, George was endorsed by the outgoing chairman Matt Rinaldi[3] and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton[4] George won 19 Senate District delegations during the state convention voting and Myers won 12.[4]

George was born in India and moved to the United States at the age of 16 with his family.[1]

George ran in the March 2024 Republican primary for the Texas House District 89, losing to Candy Noble 9,568 votes to 8,625 votes.[5]

On May 24, 2024, the Republican Party of Texas elected George as the next chair.[6]
