Jarkko Tuomisto (born 30 August 1975) is a Finnish football coach, currently working as a goalkeeping coach of OGC Nice in Ligue 1.[2]

Tuomisto received his UEFA A Goalkeeping license in 2017.

Coaching career[edit]

In the early years of his coaching career, Tuomisto worked as a goalkeeping coach for HIFK and Honka in Finland between 2007 and 2013.[3]

Arzaghena[edit]

In 2014, Tuomisto worked as a goalkeeping coach for Arzaghena in Italy

Qatar and Aspire Academy[edit]

From 2015 to 2018, Tuomisto worked for Aspire Academy with fellow Finnish coach Jyri Nieminen, and for the Qatar under-19 national team.

Independiente del Valle[edit]

Between January 2018 and June 2020, he was the goalkeeping coach for Independiente del Valle in Ecuadorian Serie A.[4]

FC Viitorul Constanta[edit]

After leaving Ecuador, he was appointed the goalkeeping coach of Viitorul Constanța in Romanian Liga I in 2020.[5]

Fatih Karagümrük, Alanyaspor and OGC Nice[edit]

Since the early 2021, Tuomisto has been working in the coaching team of manager Francesco Farioli, starting in Turkish Süper Lig clubs Fatih Karagümrük and Alanyaspor, before being named the goalkeeping coach of French side Nice in Ligue 1, in July 2023.[6][7][8][9]
